Two different paid services. Choose the one you need.

If you can photograph a tree from a safe location, digital services let you begin before any onsite appointments are available. Neither option is emergency response.

Tree Snapshot — $79

Personal remote photo review by an arborist

You're looking at damage to a tree and need a professional interpretation of the photos and practical next steps. One-time digital purchase, nationwide. Not an onsite inspection or safety clearance.

ArborLock — $59

Document a neighbor / HOA tree concern

Organize safe-distance photos, establish a dated record and prepare a written notice packet when the concern involves a tree you do not own. One-time digital purchase, nationwide. Not an arborist assessment or legal advice.

Safety first: stay away from trees touching wires, hanging limbs, fresh lean and exposed roots; call emergency services or the utility for immediate danger. Never enter a damaged area just to get photos.

Storm winds can leave trees standing but structurally damaged. I help property owners, HOAs, managers and tree contractors identify priority concerns, determine what needs further inspection, and document next steps.

Jeremy VanMaanen — fourth-generation arborist, professional tree climber, and Certified Alabama Urban Forester. Based in North Alabama, with limited scheduled Gulf Coast consulting visits.

Where I can help after the storm

  • Homeowners: split leaders, broken or hanging limbs, new lean, exposed roots, cracked unions, or uncertainty about a standing tree.
  • HOAs, condos, marinas and rental managers: prioritize trees across a property so crews and budgets address the most serious concerns first.
  • Tree companies and restoration contractors: independent arborist assessments, written findings or specialized climbing inspection; you keep your client and production work.
  • Documentation: dated observations, photographs and written reports where purchased, for property records and discussions with contractors or insurers. No claim outcome is guaranteed.

Services and starting prices

Onsite assessment — from $250. A focused evaluation, verbal guidance and short written summary by email.

Assessment with formal written report — from $450. Photos, findings and practical recommendations.

Multiple-tree / property assessment — from $750. Prioritization for HOAs and commercial or managed properties.

Climbing inspection — quoted separately. Only where site conditions and risk permit safe access. Final scope, travel and pricing are confirmed before booking.

What this service is—and isn't

This is assessment and consultation, not emergency rescue, utility clearance, or a Gulf Coast large-removal crew. Larger removals and production jobs are referred to appropriately equipped local contractors. Inspection and limited corrective work may be discussed case by case when safe and feasible.

Storm safety: Do not approach a tree touching a power line, go under hanging limbs, climb or cut storm-loaded trees, or travel through closed areas. For immediate threats call emergency services or the electric utility. Assessment appointments begin only after authorities indicate safe access.

Send a quick description

Once it is safe, text (251) 216-4077 with your city, property type, number of trees, and photos taken from a safe distance. Mention “Isaias assessment.” I’ll review whether an onsite visit makes sense and confirm an available time. Requests do not constitute a booking.

Heritage Arborist is based in Arab, Alabama. Gulf Coast service is limited to scheduled temporary visits, not a permanent local office. Remote photo reviews are available nationwide through Tree Snapshot for nonemergency situations; they do not replace onsite inspections.
