A home inspector may flag a tree without being able to tell you whether it needs pruning, monitoring, treatment or removal. An arborist assessment helps answer the money question: is this tree worth investing in, and what does it actually need?

The objective is not to sell removal
Good trees should be kept healthy. Pruning should have a reason. Monitoring is sometimes the right answer. Removal should be recommended when the condition, risk and alternatives actually justify it.
