When this service fits

• A hurricane, tropical storm, wind event, lightning event, or other incident has visibly affected a tree.
• A tree contractor recommends removal or mitigation but an owner, insurer, HOA, property manager, attorney, or other decision-maker wants independent documentation.
• A tree remains standing after a storm and you need its observable condition and damage documented.
• A board or property manager needs written findings before authorizing significant tree work.
• A restoration professional needs an arboricultural specialist to evaluate the tree component of a property loss.

What Jeremy documents

The scope can include tree identification, approximate dimensions, observable root/root-plate conditions, trunk and crown conditions, storm-related defects or damage, relevant targets, site conditions, photographs, professional findings, recommended mitigation, and limitations of the inspection. Written reports are available when documentation must be provided to another party.

Independent means independent

The purpose of the assessment is to document what the tree and site actually show. A recommendation is not predetermined to support removal, retention, or an insurance claim. If the observed conditions do not support removal, the report will say so.

This is an arboricultural service, not insurance adjusting, legal advice, engineering, or a guarantee of insurance coverage or claim payment. Coverage decisions belong to the insurer under the applicable policy.

You keep your customer and your work. Jeremy can serve as the independent arborist when your project needs tree-specific professional findings or written documentation. Production work can remain with the referring contractor.

For HOAs, condominiums & commercial properties

Storm events often affect more than one tree. Multi-tree and property-wide assignments can prioritize observations and recommended actions across a site, document conditions for the board or property file, and support longer-term tree-management planning.

Send the property location, date/type of storm or event, photographs if they can be taken safely, what the tree contractor or other party has said, whether an insurance claim exists, who needs the findings, and any deadline. Do not enter a hazardous area, approach downed conductors, stand beneath damaged branches, or climb a damaged tree to obtain photographs.
